One window looks very bad. They tried to fix it and messed it up again.
The foreman stood at the other side and said, 'Well, you can't tell it from here. $30,000 windows but a $300 job.' The salesman over promised and under delivered.
No urgency on their end to get it right. What a train wreck.
- Marketing is best in industry
- Overall experience
Preferred solution: Get the window I paid for fixed correctly.
I can’t talk to anyone in customer service
Windows were replaced in the beginning on November 2024 One was broken and was supposed to be replaced after numerous calls and no results finally in February they sent a replacement panel which was wrong so again call after call and finally the window was replaced in April. The supervisor Emily advise a compensation would be made for all the aggravation and especially that Greensky the credit department made me pay after installation was done yet not inspected Well the windows have been inspected but now I have left Emily several voicemail and no response I would like to hear from you. Just an FYI the installers were fantastic

Verified Buyer |Great Product--HORRIBLE service
First off, the windows are beautiful and of extremely high quality! The salesman that came to my house was very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful.
Made us feel comfortable and safe paying $174,000 up front for the job of 52 windows. He acknowledged and understood the fact we had Home Owners Association (HOA) rules.
After that point, the service went DOWNHILL fast! Install team reached out to us monthly but would never return emails or voicemail. Had 4 different primary reps assigned during the 7-month span.
We made multiple attempts to reach Andersen install team, and NEVER had calls or emails responded.
On 3 Dec (3 days before install), we finally reached our 4th rep, Luis. He had zero knowledge of the project, and Andersen had not secured a building permit. After he researched our project, he elevated it to a supervisor who acknowledged that the permit request had never been submittedAndersen dropped the ball and used the excuse they were moving offices to Orlando.
The workers doing the install were OUTSTANDING! However, communication with the install team was horrible!
Throughout the whole process, we sent/voicemailed over 50 times, and had less than 15 replies. One of the windows arrived shattered off the truck, a crane got stuck in our backyard leaving huge ruts, and this whole process took 7 months.
The installers were GREAT, but the communication and customer service was horrible. For the amount I spent, I will not recommend Andersen to any neighbors or friends.
UPDATE: as of 23 Dec 24 (56 days after providing info), I still do not have an approved building permit. 3 emails, multiple texts regarding the crane lift Andersen left in my cul-de-sac for 5 daysno response (7 calls from neighbors, and 2 HOA violations).
They finally picked it up with zero communication.
UPDATE #2: on 26 Dec, after posting reviews, I had customer service rep #5 (assigned) actually contact me...wow. It only happened 5 (five) days after I had requested. I had been calling for most of the week, as they left equipment, and I received multiple homeowners association violations.
WORST customer service ever!
So much for their "White Glove" service. I was considering impact windows for my other house as well--IT WON"T BE RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN.
User's recommendation: Look for alternate options. Product is GREAT, service is horrible!
Wow not very happy with the check up the glass and overpriced of $1.400.
Well I pay over $10,000 for these window and something hit the glass and it crack and warranty doesnt cover the window glass.

Verified ReviewerInstallation team was totally unqualified
Never bothered to contact me. Pretty sad.
On March 22, 2021 we contracted Anderson Window to replace an angle bay window in our kitchen with a double hung. The nightmare began on this day.
First the installer sent out were not qualified to handle this installation.
I was very disappointed in the salesman that sold us the window because we were not advised properly, also he had an attitude. Imagine $6,616.00 for a window that you ;literally hate and it has issues and drafts!
User's recommendation: Ask a million questions and make sure you understand everything!
Had a 6 pm appointment today they have not showed up as of now
We had a 6 pm appointment today and no one has called or showed up as of now!!! We feel like this is a scam or something is going on with this company.
Why hasnt any one called us to lat us know what time they will be or to reschedule our appointment

Verified Reviewer |Being given the run around by both corporate and local offices.
Tried to order parts to repair a window in an upscale Park City rental home. Was told parts would arrive in 2 weeks.
A month later I had to call and ask where the parts were.
They promised to resend the parts right away. Another month goes by and I had to call again to ask about the delay.
they said the parts had to be custom made and that a tech would have to do the installation.
Now another 2 months has gone by and now they claim that I never ordered the parts!.
I have all the conversations recorded. And the BBB is going to be contacted about this issue.
- Terrible customer service
Preferred solution: The parts to finish the repairs
User's recommendation: Avoid doing business renewal by Andersen windows

I understand that if you live in a condo, the board chooses. If you have to get their windows, just be ready for issues.
I paid $22742 for the 10 windows that were required in my building. That's $2274/window. They chose the more expensive ones. I signed the contract and accepted financing in 2021. Now, in 2024, I can't close the double-hung windows or lock them. This is a problem during winter since I basically have a gap at the top. I have to tape over the windows.
Others in my building have the same problems. I thought it was just mine. When I call them, they send out a big tall man with tools. The latest visit was on 8/8/2016. He uses tools in the lock and climbs to the top, really pushing up with all his strength and says, 'See, it's easy.' I'm 60 and not as tall or strong. Then he says I have to keep them closed for 2 weeks (fine during the winter) But he says this to my face during hot weather. I reply back to him, 'So you want me to keep all these windows closed for 2 weeks when it's 95 degrees?' Somehow, I thought paying over 22k would make these windows easier, not a source of suffering. I shouldn't have to use tools, climb ladders, and start a weight lifting regime in order to close my windows. In 2024, I still can't close and lock my 10 windows that put me back $22742. The installation was a bit of a nightmare. They gouged out the walls in the common hall, my hall, and tossed my cat's toy out into the street from my 2nd floor window opening. (FYI: Their financing company was honest and above board.)
- Look nicer from the outside
- Do not close and lock
Preferred solution: Fix my windows so they close and lock without using a ladder, tools, and strength (I don't have.)
User's recommendation: Renewal by Andersen: no; ask for referrals from people who are satisfied with their windows.
Need repairs to my door
This is the second time I have needed repairs done on the rubber insolation items around the door. They just come unglued and fall out of the door lining.
I have called but have heard nothing back since I got a hold of Pissed Consumer.
User's recommendation: be careful the salesman makes promises he doesn't keep and later on they are very hard to get a hold of if you need repairs.

To whom it may concern:
I am writing to register my complaint against David Sandoval and the company he works for.
On 5-15-24, David Sandoval, the salesman from Renewal by Andersen Windows came out and measured my house for two new windows. At no time did he say the windows would hang out 1 ¾ inches from the stucco, or that I would have to take down my shutters or if the shutters were to stay up they would have to stay close for the new windows to fit. If I would have known that up front I would not have proceeded with the windows.
Come the day of the installation, 7-24-24 the installer advised me that the widows would not fit correctly. The windows would hand off the stucco an inch and three quarters.
The installer advised me to make the windows fit flush with the stucco, the shutters will have to remain shut or be taken down completely. He advised me I could hold off on the installation until talking to the salesperson. We both tried contacting the salesperson on the installation day but could not connect with him and he did not return our messages we left.
I contacted the finance company and advised that since the windows did not fit and I never took delivery of the windows, I wanted to cancel the windows. The finance company reached out to Andersen Renewal to try and settle the issue.
I was advised that Andersen would cancel the windows, but I would be charged $2,124.75.
I should not be charged anything as the windows was measured wrong from the beginning and the salesman was not honest about what the windows would look like when installed.
At no time did anyone from Renewal by Andersen Windows contact me to advise of this amount will be charged to me, but I was advised by Greensky Inc. of this action.
I am asking for the $2,124.75 charge to be removed.
My complaint has also been register to BBB.

Verified ReviewerVery BAD service.
I ordered a bay window back in March of 2024. It still is not finished with installation!!!
It has been 6 months. I have tried to talk with the service people and all they do is give you the run around. My calls do not go to the people in charge, they go to a service call center. An installer has been to my home 4 times, after the window was put in, and they never bring the trim.
They don't know how to match the stain color, that they ordered!!
I picked out the color stain and they can't figure it out from there. Clowns...waiting 6 months for trim.
User's recommendation: run away as fast as you can. NEVER buy Renewal by Anderson Windows.

Verified ReviewerLeaking since installation
April 24,2024 I had 2 patio doors installed, 400 series after waiting 8 weeks for delivery. April 26, 2024 it rained and both of them leaked.
After 3 hours on the phone withcustomer service and being transferred to several departments, they finally agreed to send a technician. He said it was a manufactures defect, would order 2 new panels. He did a temporary fix. A month later it rained again, and again, they leaked.
I spoke to the technician, several times, he said after an additional 10 weeks, the new panels were in. He would come to replace them September 19, 2024. Well, its August 31, it rained they leaked again. This time it was worse!
Im so frustrated! I paid
$ 20,800 for the doors plus another $5000 for a contractor to change the wood and flashing prior to the door installation to make sure it was going to be a good install. They did a fantastic job, the Anderson technician said their work was perfect, the leaks were a door failure. August 31, 2024, Im looking at my doors and the water stains and am so frustrated!
I have everything documented. How can I get some service without spending another 3 hours on the phone with customer service? Has anyone else had an issue, if so how did you get it resolved? Im ready to call an attorney, but Ive never done that before.
Any help from would be appreciated.
Thank you! Im really feeling ripped off.

Verified ReviewerOver billing , incomplete job after over 1 year
We have not heard from Andersen renewal
Over 1 year, 2 damaged doors, 1 incorrect door, damaged stucco by employees, not painted. They asked us to find someone to paint and send them a bill...
really? We've paid $23,609.00 so far. We were supposed to receive a credit for not replacing the 4th door but have not received it yet.
Instead, we received another bill for $5,246.50, which would be an overpayment. We are elderly and feel that we are being taken for a ride.
- Does not commit to provided services they advertise
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: stay away!!!!

Verified ReviewerInvited to complimentary dinner and then uninvited over the phone.
Received a postcard in the mail stating I was invited to a dinner presentation to learn more about Renewal By Anderson. Scanned the RSVP QR code and received a call back from Zack Viborel-Baker.
He uninvited me since I said I am planning to replace my windows in about 12 months.
If this is a no obligation invitation then they are not being genuine. Avoid this company at all costs.
